I wanted to learn Japanese culture and language as part of my career goals. I am studying to be a speech pathologist so it is important to be open minded

I loved learning about traditional Japanese traditions like Chado, The Way of Tea and listening to Wakaido. These activities were fun because it involved getting to know my classmates more and I got to participate in important aspects of Japanese culture

I liked listening to my sensei’s stories because it made learning the language easier. I wasn’t afraid to make mistakes. I also liked how small the class was because it was easier for the sensei to answer our questions and grow a bond with everyone.

This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and learn about other cultures. Explore this amazing country as much as you can because it is unforgettable.
